REPTILE TRACKER

Account deletion & export

Keep what you need, then request permanent account cleanup in the app.

Updated September 30, 2026

Save your records first

In Reptile Tracker → Settings, choose Export Data and save the JSON file somewhere you control. Exports contain record data and links to photos. They do not include the original image files or guarantee a single instant-in-time snapshot across all records. Keep separate photo copies; deleting originals can make imported photo links stop working.

Request deletion in the app

  1. Sign in to the Reptile Tracker account you want to delete.
  2. Open Settings and choose Delete Account.
  3. Read the confirmation and confirm using your password when requested. Apple-linked accounts may ask for fresh Sign in with Apple authorization.
  4. Wait for the app to confirm completion. If it reports an error, contact support; do not assume deletion finished.

This is permanent. Once accepted, server cleanup removes active cloud records, uploaded photos, app account entitlements and the authentication account. Cleanup can continue and retry independently if the app closes. For Apple-linked accounts the native flow also revokes Apple sign-in authorization before requesting cleanup.

If you cannot access the app

Email support@myreptiletracker.com for help with account access or a deletion request. We need to verify the account before taking account action. Do not email a password or authentication code. This website does not itself authenticate or execute deletion.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting an account or uninstalling the app does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it separately in your Apple Account’s subscription settings. See billing instructions.

What may remain

Recovery copies expire under the configured database and photo-retention periods. A restricted account identifier/status record remains for cleanup retries and protection against delayed uploads. Historical diagnostics, analytics, support correspondence and billing records are not all automatically erased by app-account cleanup. The Privacy Policy describes these limits and the verified backup periods.
